hecker Posted December 11, 2008 Share Posted December 11, 2008 Yes, it will be bootable. And no, there is nothing to unpack. DMG is not a compression format but an image format. Press the Burn button, select your image and voila. Use the lowest possible speed that your media will support (usually 4x) in order to avoid read errors. Also use quality media like Verbatim or TDK, if you can.
