about fracking time !!

 

confirm as fully working on Asus WL-167g v2 on 10.5.4

 

Could you post your working kext, please?

 

I downloaded the new drivers, installed my RT61 card.

 

Kext wont load becuase it still PowerPC only.

 

Inside kext has a changelog:

Also the DOC (a pdf) says RT61 driver: 1.2.4.0 but inside the DMG driver is 1.0.4.0 :)

Could you post your working kext, please?

i just chose from the download options USB (RT257x/RT2671) and then installed rt71 packge

 

a long time i thought Asus WL-167g v2 is rt2500 based, but it's actually rt71

 

as for testing it, i just installed, rebooted, and pluged in the usb card, detected my router and successfully conected

yo guys, i have EW-7128G rt2561 chip won't work with this driver,

New on the Ralink website is the rt61/rt2500 wireless drivers laugh.png

 

a lot of new pci wireless cards are supported now that it is for 10.5

 

such as my wmp54g v4.1 linksys card...finally!

But, one question.

 

If I have a PCI card with rt2500 and I install the driver (that is for usb card) will it be recognised?

'Cause I've got a C54Ri card, and it seems that it can have rt2500 or rt61 chipset...
