FernandoBR
Hi folks thanks to your knowledge base I´ve been able to install Leo4All 10.5.2 for testing on both my wife´s and mine PC. I would like to try Logic, that´s the main purpose of hacking my system. Downloaded the 400Mb ripped one available on torrent sites but i´m having some kind of graphics problem, transport buttons don´t show, as illustrations on top window buttons. The audio part worked like a charm with software-monitoring plugins down to 32 sample latency, faster than ASIO! I have a copy of Cubase LE 1.0 (runs as PowerPC), it worked too at 64 sample (ASIO), but I really want is to try fully-working Logic. Trying to download the full Logic DVD and newer versions of osx86 (iDeneb, iAtkos, Snow Leopard...), wondering if anyone has any other tips? Also Final Cut Pro, which is why my wife wanted her system hacked, didn´t work in mine. Tryed deleting the Qmaster entries and app, and network stuff, but no good yet. Tips? My config: Q9450 on Intel DG35EC, 4Gb Kingston Profire2626+Firestudio2626 (on added PCI-FW card), both OOB XFX GEFORCE 8400GS QE/CI enabled (with injector) 1280x1024 19"monitor Network not working yet (tried a lot and gave up for now), onboard sound too but I don´t use it Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/139389-kinda-works-but-having-some-problems-logic-pro8-final-cut/ Share on other sites
acidizer
It also happened with me. Update it to 8.02 and you should solve that problem. As for the full version of Logic Pro, be aware that most versions on the web are actually just the main apps. The "full" version of it is Logic Studio Box Set wich is like some 52Gb. L. FernandoBR
Thanks gonna look for the update. Can I do it offline? (since my hack still has no ethernet...) Yes I know it´s lots of DVDs, but I thought there was something missing on the apps. If I download the 6.9Gb first DVD will I get something that is not on this small one? You can do it offline in deed. Here's the link: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/appl...ogicpro802.html As for the install with the 6.9GB DVD, You can only install all the "core" apps and have fully working presets, but no soundbank at all. It will be quite simple, since during the install process the menu will tell you if you have to insert aditional DVD's in order to conclude the install. L. prodeguerriero
Hi there! I have a question. I'm trying to update my Final Cut Studio to have FCP up to date (6.0.5), like I do have on my MacBook. I don't know why, but after I download the updates (using Software Update), i still get 6.0, and I can't open the projects made with the 6.0.5 version. I have installed both a Retail version of Leopard(updated to 10.5.4) and iDeneb 10.5.4 on my hackintosh in sign. I'm going to update to 10.5.5 with the retail version to see if something happens. The FCS version is the same installed on the MacBook. Any Ideas? FernandoBR
Hey thanks a lot kondi, I managed to get it via torrent, but haven´t installed yet. The iatkos DVD finished too, and I installed it (10.5.5), both final cut 5.0.1 and logic 8 are now runnig ok, needs more testing but seems to be perfect. Gonna update both now. Still no network, intel 82566DC, so still prisoner of windows. Seems that iDeneb has the kext, so im waiting for it to complete...
