39thRonin
I just d/l'd the 10.4.6 update from Apple, and the first thing I looked for was the flash player to see if it was a universal app or not. It is, and it works fine with Camino (I'll test other browsers in a bit). Here's what to do: 1) D/L the update from Apple 2) Use Pacifist to open the package 3) Navigate to Library/Application Support/Internet Plug-Ins 4) Select the Flash Player.plugin and copy it to the desktop 5) Navigate to the /Library/Application Support/Internet Plug-Ins folder and back up your existing flash.plugin 6) Copy the 10.4.6 Flash.plugin to the /Library/Application Support/Internet Plug-Ins folder 7) Fire up Camino and head to Macromedia to test your new, faster Flash! Hope this helps... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13926-1046-flash-plugin-is-universal/ Share on other sites
cavemonkey50
I just ran an MD5 on the flash plugin, and it's the same one that Macromedia has had on their site for a while. Then just tell it to replace the existing one Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13926-1046-flash-plugin-is-universal/#findComment-92459 Share on other sites
