kinkster
I need a new WiFi card for my hackintosh. The cheaper the better, but mostly I just want reliability under OSX and ease of installing drivers and what not. The problem with my current card is that it will get worse and worse as I use it, until the connection totally goes out. Here are my specs: Kalyway 10.5.1 MB: GA P35 DS3L Any other specs needed? MaaseyRacer
D-Link DWA-542, DWA-552, or DWA-556 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138622-which-wifi-card/#findComment-983487 Share on other sites
kinkster
I don't have N though, so that would really just be a waste. Can I just pick pretty much any card from the HCL and install the right kexts/drivers to get it working? Or only one's okay in kalyway? I would say the Asus WL-138G V2 since that has worked brilliantly for me. 3 times. kinkster
Ah, it works right out of the box? Sounds great I'm surprised it isn't always reccomended. sometimes even hackintoshes are easier then Windows... Oh, just looked at the box and that's the card I already have. Looks like people have had the same problems I'm having with it so ill see if there's a fix then get something else.
