AndrewRenn
I talked to my Computers Manufactuerer and I waited oh, maybe 3 hours to find out that I can't change it to AHCI.. Is there a way to FORCE it? Or is there a hackintosh out there that lets you use IDE or whatever it is? thanks.. m82a1
u can change it to AHCI, but ur next windows boot will continue with a nice BSOD (if u got windows) from my experience with AHCI off for osx86, the hdd sizes were off, and it wouldnt boot the dvd properly. another thing i have noticed, on my old dfi socket 939 board, i didnt have an AHCI option in the bios, on my new Intel board, i do.
