Korrupted
If you can remember where the maxxuss folder is, go into single user mode (-s), just mv it in terminal to /, and go from there. declan
I did a similar thing today, backed up the login window, applied update, restored, reboot (read the idea on the forum) and froze at the login window upon reboot. Luckily i had a spare hd to install os x, (even better it already had a copy on) and was able to put my main disk as a second disk and copy Maxxuss stuff to root and reboot to fix it. Probably no help to you but i know how you feel Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13841-security-update-error/#findComment-88236 Share on other sites
Colonel
I fixed it. I had to move it and extract it and then I got it to install. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13841-security-update-error/#findComment-88554 Share on other sites
