thrunner
This is more of a Sentech specific question, no? You are trying to use the XP as a DHCP server, you shouldn't need any Mac drivers: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=28070 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13761-internet-sharing-from-win-xp-to-os-x86/#findComment-87583 Share on other sites
djtrix
Buy a router!!! They're cheap, and it'll save you alot of headaches, plus relying on winxp firewall is a really really really BAD idea! for like $40 you can get a router, to plug your modem into, and then share the connection through that to the other computers on your network. plus you'll save power cause you winxp box wont have to be on just to use internet on your osx box just my -Dre Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13761-internet-sharing-from-win-xp-to-os-x86/#findComment-87635 Share on other sites
Veeoh
ditto - router is way to go, I use Linksys for preference but I have heard Belkin and Netgear are also very good. thrunner
I think HP_Mac's problem is that the Sentech is available only as USB or PCMCIA. It is a wireless broadband in Europe and some parts of Africa. If an ethernet version is available, obviously the easiest solution is a router. Here is some info on a ethernet adapter cable: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=21132 Again, this is more of a Sentech question than Mac.
