PainWarlock
question can i be your grey hat? dont be alarmed at me saying this but i would like to test some carefuly crafted virus on the stonewall systems maybe make it cli aswell cus i have seen alot of windows anti viruses which arent cli cli could destroy any chance of an attacker compromising systems if you do it right lets say a proof of concept could be arranged? i could test all kinds of programs you could prolly disable certain obex and code which are used in scripts that make them malicious most companys go by deffinition and have a "weak" detection of these kinds of things they have an alert saying this file can compromise bla bla but its very stupid and its weak it only supports certain registry components to wormhole a computer to another an example of these kinds of threats some hackers use wide DNS server private ones they make there would be the master who lets the group use his server this is alarming to most security especialy when they use unix based operating systems to compromise others very easy to also when they use the dns they cant be detected on a private network as they would use a loopback of random ip addresses and also such privoxy networks and wireless undetectable im letting you know this because when a new anti virus comes out and you admit it on a site like this your systems can be compromised by us no threats but im just warning you of the dangers for your friend making these servers to host such programs Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137499-free-windows-xp-anti-virus/#findComment-979459 Share on other sites

Mickos
Makes me wonder where he/they obtain 'virus definitions' however? I'd say it's quite a big process to do on your own....
