osx ideneb 10.5.5 on asus u2e

hi folks!

 

as some of you know i'm dutch.

 

so we have a dutch forum, called muzzle (www.muzzle.nl)

 

there's a man with the username scubaman.

 

he runs an asus u2e 12 inch laptop with an intel core 2 duo u7600 and an intel chipset (Intel GM965)

 

we can't get mac osx to run on that machine.

 

the only thing we get is the apple screen (with a white square) and then it just doesn't do anything, we tried leo4all, jas, kalyway and even msiwindosx.

 

it keeps hanging on the apple screen al the time.

 

we tried different kernels (modbin) with no results.

 

does someone know WHAT we're doing wrong?? we gave up imho.

First thing I would suggest is to boot with the "-v" option. Take a screenshot of where it is locking up and upload the pic here. We will all be able to help you better if we know exactly where it is stopping.
