JRDELUNAIII Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 Try -X -V -F , also how long did you let it sit there ?? Currently when mine boots up, it takes about 5+ minutes to boot. I thought it was not booting, but I left it there and foudn it had booted up. Now I am trying to figure out why it is taking so long to boot. Hope this helps. mrgrim94 Posted November 11, 2008 Author Share Posted November 11, 2008 ok i tried that and still the same error "RTL8139::fixEnetFlowControl - Flow Control is disabled" then is just hangs, its been sitting there for 10 minutes now edit: as far as i can tell the first error is "ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure. manofmany Posted November 11, 2008 Share Posted November 11, 2008 I popped a couple disks into a M2000 Compaq I have as it has that same card. They all hung at that exact line. You may need to manually remove the kext(s) before burning a disc image.
