I'm looking for some audio device that is supported under OSx, since my current SB X-Fi isn't and the onboard AD1988B only stereo. What I need is 5.1 support with separate outs (analogue) for dem movies and some very occasional recording of a few tracks with reasonable (not Apogee) quality. Of course it should also have Win32 support (which won't be the hard part I guess), for gaming (Mic In is needed too there). I found this one: http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/firewave though shipping to germany is a bit harsh with $100 Any other recommendations? Is it working with OSx? I have some other USB 5.1 device around (forgot make/model), that doesn't work on OSx... And nowhere where they sell the Zalman, OSx is mentioned...
