Described only as "persistent," the sources say that an announcement is scheduled for November 10th, rather than Macworld, Apple's next confirmed publicity event in January. Still angry at Apple for not implementing a dock/station with the new MacBooks, but oh well. Looks like I'm using Hac OS X for another MacBook go-round. Maxintosh Posted November 9, 2008 Author Share Posted November 9, 2008 As I understand it, it's supposed to get the same video as the new Macbooks got, so it should be pretty decent. If they do come out with new Mac minis I'll be buying two of them as soon as they are available in the Apple stores. Our old mini has served us well. Definitely the best computer that I've ever owned. Since we took it out of the box it has never once had any issues what so ever. Plus the resale value is incredible (already have it sold for almost what we paid for it). It makes good business sense for Apple to release the new Mini before Christmas, instead of at the same time that they release the new Mac Pro. They didn't even have an announcement concerning the CPU upgrade. So if anything, it'll just spontaneously appear on/in the Apple Store without much flash. However, even if there's nothing now, surely there will be an iMac/Mac Mini update early next year...I'm thinking Geforce 9300/9400, maybe Displayport + new metal body.
