I have an Acer Aspire 5610 laptop. I have installed Kalyway 10.5.2 from the disc and then the Kalyway 10.5.3 update before the 10.5.4 Delta Update. I would like to go to 10.5.5 but I am unsure as of how to get there. What would people suggest? I see there is a 10.5.5 9f9 Delta Update out there, should I go for that?

You need Leopard Combo Update 10.5.5 over http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosx1055update.html here. To install this update follow theses steps:

1. Open Terminal

2. Type sudo -s and enter password

3. Type while sleep 1; do rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext; done

4. Start Installer BUT DO NOT RESTART

5. Go back to your terminal and press Control C to end the script

6. Type nano /System/InstallAtStartup/scripts/1

7. Replace the line Dont Steal Mac OS X.kext with dsmos.kext

8. Restart
