I really wish valve would use some of the money they saved from not going through publishers and make an osx version Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13439-steam-on-x86-mac/#findComment-93290 Share on other sites

INFNITE
then buy Windows (or pirate it if you have to). Gaming on Mac will never come close to gaming on Windows, and that's not going to change especially now Boot Camp is out. It's like saying you want to play a PS2 game on an Xbox...If you want something, then buy it. bkny1055
You know INFNITE that the new Xbox was to have MAC Hardware and MSWinblows OS so why would you say that its not possible to get the same quality of service from a MAC playing games ? Dont get me wrong i use my winblows around for my games and never thought i would come to a MAC but here i am, Things change, there are several games out there for the MAC, they might not be upto par with the Winblows version but they are getting better. http://news.com.com/Xbox+360+demos+running..._3-5706658.html Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13439-steam-on-x86-mac/#findComment-106446 Share on other sites
TheG2
Its a common practice to develop games on the Mac platform...they just are never designed to run on them in the end. fOZf8
Considering the PPC likeness between the 360 and the G5s, it really only makes sense, however bass-ackwards it is. In the end, Mac's are far more elegant and graceful computers than M$ based PCs, and well, gaming just isn't in the universal equation for elegance. Of course, based solely on the new Apple commercials, you'd totally pin the Mac dude as being the gamer over the nerdy Windows guy. btw, I'm not ripping on gaming, I love it...I play Burnout 4 on my xbox everyday with my 3 year old son, and I just installed SiN: Emergence in XP yesterday (rockin game so far). anyway, maybe once gaming has reached a higher virtual level, ie full 3d immersion (now thats elegant!), apple will step in and be like...hey, THIS is how it's really done.
