Compiling done, if it worked, you have now a patched DSDT in dsdt.aml
If the compiling went wrong, you could force to build it with ./DSDT\ Patcher -f (try this DSDT at your own risk)

I'm on Boot 132+Chameleon EFI, I used Chameleon installer and replace Chameleon BOOT with DFE BOOT file.

I got it working removed CPUDisabler inside /Extra/Extensions add DSDT.aml at root reboot no HPET error with CPUPowerManagement.

Do I need to replace DFE BOOT file at root with Chameleon.diff?

HI there, thanks for sharing your work.

I did not use your patch because I only get 32 optimizations instead of 725 by doing it by myself, plus now my cpu is cooler and faster. But I'm looking to inplant your hptet management, how can I do it manualy so I can use applecpumanagement.kext?

Here is my dsdt.dsl (thanks in advance)

Im follow with great expectation this thread, I have a question, do you think that this method can be used with the Munky (EFI) partition. I have tried but Im stuck at the end of the process. The AppleIntelPowerManagement, load succesfully, all kext load, but the system cannot change to graphic mode once that this load finish.

Thanks for your input.

  Name (BUF0, ResourceTemplate ()
				{
					IRQNoFlags ()
						{0}
					IRQNoFlags ()
						{8}

This is what the patcher does, adding those 2 IRQ's after ResourceTemplate in HPET device

My laptop also suffers a decrease in performance from loading AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement. On the other hand my Gigabyte P965 desktop can no longer sleep or restart properly after using this patch........any ideas as to why this is? I already removed /dsdt.aml and replaced /boot with the original 1.0.11 Chameleon boot file....

I dont have SSDT, or at least I couldnt find it under cat /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/SSDT.

I guess theres something wrong with my dsdt. I cannot compile it back (not even unmodified).

dump it with:

sudo cat /proc/acpi/dsdt > dsdt.dat

decompiling:

iasl -d dsdt.dat

and compiling right after:

iasl -ta dsdt.dsl

gives me this output:

Error	4095 -			^ syntax error, unexpected PARSEOP_NAMESEG, expecting PARSEOP_DEFINITIONBLOCK

I had the same results under ubuntu and OSX, trying to do it manually, also with the patcher...

Ended up with a 4 byte empty .asl or .hex file

Can you please look at my files? I attach the .tar made by the patcher 1.0.1b; I runned a diff between this dump and the one I got from linux. they are identical...

Thanks for your help!

Hi fassl, I was looking to my post and I realized that I actually didnt attached the file I wanted to show you (the .dat file wasnt inside the tar!). So I attach it now... If you have a moment, please have a look to it. I can decompile it but is not possible to compile it back... And sorry for the other post; Sometimes I...
