dont tell me u are using that x48 board JUST for a mac, cuz that would be really pointless, its like a $300 board i think.

another thing, that video card is GREAT but, there are no mac drivers for it since mac doesnt yet carry them in their desktops, so ur stuck at 1024 x 768 without QE and CI, just like i am with my 4850

thanks to all,

i will try the driver on my system BTW (Realtek High Definition Audio), LAN works OOB

also i am using the system with 1TB HDD vista 64bit (very fast and stable :thumbsup_anim: )

so i wannted to use the OSX on my 1TB HDD SATA2, i have created a mac partition and installation done successfully but after reboot system did not start

i am getting the following message

Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleAHCIPort.

Still waiting for root device

Still waiting for root device

Still waiting for root device

......

so then i have tried another 80 HDD IDE and it works :D

i am downloading iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 (kalyway) i hope my sata HDD works with it.

Still waiting for root device = set ur ide hdd to the 1st ide channel and the jumper to master

Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleAHCIPort. = enable AHCI in the bios, but if it was not already turned on when u installed vista, u'll get a bsod "not_bootable_device" or something like that

thanks,

but i have enabled AHCI for the SATA2 HDD 1TB and vista is working on it and i am getting this error

Failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleAHCIPort

Still waiting for root device

then i have used a 80 HDD IED and turn off AHCI in bios then it worked. :D

so OSX maybe is not supporting SATA2 on X48T-DQ6
