Urbz Posted March 29, 2006 Share Posted March 29, 2006 hey, got a pavilion dv4000: centrino sonoma, 1.73 ghz, gma900, yatta yatta. So in 10.4.3, all was fine. (almost all...CPU and power management was cool!) Now, in 10.4.5, none of it works. I used that patch floating around to regain the battery icon. It worked, but OS X doesn't notice when the computer is and isn't plugged in! The processor can't be scaled or changed, and i had that option before. I read something on this forum about the OS X developper tools playing some role in this....something about the processor palette affecting the other settings? Make sense to anyone? I NEED HELP! Aurora Posted March 29, 2006 Share Posted March 29, 2006 There's a torrent floating around that contains all the extensions from 10.4.3. Grab that and replace your current power management kext's (not sure which) with those from 10.4.3. I'm just throwing that out as a suggestion, since that's what I would do. Expermentation is always recommended as well!
