I've noticed from several posts on different sites that there seems to be different results and effects of 10.4.5. I would like to get an overall and specified opinion of 10.4.5. I currently have 10.4.1 and it works pretty well. I am considering upgrading, hoping for a boost of speed and better compatibility with my dell 1350 wireless card (or possible my mini-pci lucent technologies wireless card). Can you please tell me your overall opinion of 10.4.5, what the positives and negatives are, and if I should upgrade? Also, an easy solution to get my 1350 wireless card or lucent technologies card, or if itl'll work in 4.5 automatically (without patches). Thanks.

UPDATE: Deciding to switch to 10.4.5: I will update my resulting performance on my 2 systems i try it on. Still need help on dell wireless 1350 card. Thanks

I really do not know why anyone would want to run 10.4.1 now. I recently moved to Myzar's prepatched 10.4.5 from 10.4.3 and it seems to be a big improvement (but time will tell). Specificaly, Apple's DVD Player now works and I have yet to get a kernel panic or spontaneous restart. I was having some mild problems with system instability in 10.4.3, video would reproducibly cause a kernel panic. 10.4.5 seems a little faster too.

Thanks Myzar.

Alright thanks bofors. And thanks to those who voted for the input. I encourage you to vote.

Wireless card is still an issue though. Its a dell wireless 1350 card.

Can someone give me some simple instructions, and the driver i need to load to get this thing working? Thanks.
