Hey,

1) There is a whole section about dual-booting in this forum, you might want to look there.

2) Use the darwin bootloader that comes on the install disc. Just select your windows partition and itll boot it

Good luck and pm me for any other info

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I currently have a vista-xp dual boot on the system but i want to get rid of vista. So what you are saying is that i should go into the install, format the vista partition in mac format, install there and xp should just appear in the menu?

I suggest you keep Vista as XP has a little problem while repairing boot volume after installing a boot loader. Just Erase (Format) XP partition with Disk Utilities in HFS+Journalised and continue installation on the erased partition.

Hey,

1) Download GParted live cd

2) Launch GParted, shrink your XP partition, format the xtra space into NTFS

3) Lauch the mac installer distro, format the newly created NTFS partition of HFS+

4) Install

5) Boot from the mac partition, download the Chameleon bootloader (google it), install it and reboot

Now you can use the darwin/chameleon bootloader to boot either your XP partition or your mac partition
