homers Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 Hi I was wondering what the new MacBook Pro's are like compared to a other laptops of the same price. Next year I am thinking of getting a laptop for university and originally I was going to get a Dell or Alienware but after seeing the new MacBook Pro I am thinking of getting that. Tried Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 would a dell of the same price be better better is relative, hardware wise you might get a better bang for buck but the fact that mac runs leopard should make it a winner. However, the new macbooks and macbook pros look sturdy and well built, much better looking than a dell definitely. Just think what you would be using it for. If its for gaming, maybe alienware might be a better choice but i would personally never trade a mac for any pc. if you run vista on a mac, the mac will run it at the same performance if not better Tried Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
