Geforce 6800 - working?

Has anyone gotten the geforce 6800 to show higher resolutions? i.e 1600x1200?

Try this.

when booting hit a button to get to the cmd line boot mode

then type this with the Quotes.

 

"Graphics Mode"="1600x1200x32"

 

Note:: Changeing the Refresh rate has not been working you can try if you want but mostly it will just reset on you. to change the Refresh rate add

@xx, where xx is the refresh rate you want, to the end of the rez string. E.G. "Graphics Mode"="1600x1200x32@75"

Will try it. but would also like to be able to use acceleration QE .. etc

Use search function. There should be dozen places where it's written that only some Intel accelerators are working with QE/Q2E/CI.

Yes. And DirectX, too

 

DirectX is Windows only acceleration

 

Macs use OpenGL for 3d Functions and Quartz extreme for 2d.
