I know it used to be heavily discussed but now we have a break through.

The new voodoo kernel fixed the major issue that we had.

Here is my finding. I uses iAtkos v4i (10.5.4) DVD and replaced it with voodoo newest kernel and it boots correctly.

Most important is the speed is now calculated correctly. The animation and spinning speed is now correct. Which mean that we can have a MACOS running at proper speed as it should.

However, I am not sure if the kernel is too new for this 10.5.4 DVD (I should try the voodoo 9.4.0 instead), the show error right before verifying the DVD.

But the terminal / Disk Utility / and the Screen display work correctly.

Other please update. Thanks.

Yes it solved the timing problem, but still I'm unable to install it on my eee pc 900. I'm trying to boot retail DVD with voodoo and some other kexts, everything stops at the moment just before language selection windows appears. I guess it doesn't detect the monitor. -x is no go. Also tried a paperclip trick and dual monitor configuration.

Guys, how did you get past this one?
