errandwolfe
I am considering purchasing an ATI X300SE card. I have been doing some research and I am coming up with a lot of conflicting info. Some say no QE/CI, Some say QE/CI but no resolution changes and mouse tearing, Some say it works perfectly. In the light of all this and so we can get a clear entry in the wiki let me ask the following: If you have an ATI X300 series, and I mean an X300 ONLY, not interested in other models in this post, does it work? Specifically: Does OS X recognize the card (native or did you have to edit plist)? What version of OS X are you running? Exactly which X300 do you have? Is Quartz Extreme and Core Image working? Did you have to perform any special steps to get it working? Is there any mouse tearing or UI problems? Does it recognize the correct amount of RAM on the video card? Anything else regarding this you feel you should share?
