hi all!

you know all that windows vista sucks bad. so i decided to choose the battle and now i try to get osx leopard on my amd-machine.

first of all some details of my msi megabook:

name: MSI Megabook S310

processor: Turion 64 X2 TL-56 (dual core)

North Bridge: ATI RS485M

South Bridge: ATI SB460

cache l2: 2 x 1GB DDR II SDRAM

HD: 160 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm

graphic: ATI Radeon Xpress 1150 Shared Video Memory (UMA), 128 MB

Sound: Realtek, Azalia Interface, ALC 883

WLAN: 802.119 MiniPCI Wireless, MS-6833B

---------------------

now to my problem:

currently my hd is empty and formated as fat32 and no other partitions. then i tried to boot with the Leo4Allv3 release from eddie, but after a screen full of operating-text it is just "still waiting for root device". i saw this problem already several times by other forum-users without any solutions. there must be one or is my hardware just not compatible with a mac osx?

here are the last lines from my boot-try:

extension "com.apple.driverappleacpi/thermal"

has no explicit kernel dependency; using version 6.0

appleviaatadriver: via 8237 sata (cmd 0xb800, ctr 0xb400, irq 22, bm 0xa800)

USBF: [...] check sleep capability - ohci controller will be unloaded across sleep.

USBF: [...]

Still waiting for root device

Still waiting for root device

[after a minute or something it comes again and again and again...]

---------------------

i hope some of you have some hints and suggestions according to solve my problem! if not, i have to switch to windows xp again! NOOOOO! >_<
