nevermind1331
Has this happened to anyone else with their windows installation. My xp had kept getting destroyed, after so much time when i would boot it would boot to a black command line and give me an int_13 error (if you know the cause of this, please let me know). So when i reinstalled i kept installing drivers and programs one by one, then shutting down, hoping to isolate the problem. One time when i booted, windows recognized a built in isight. Said it installed the drivers and everything. But no camera appears andwhere. Is this new or normal? Also. please respond if your xp installed keeps breaking like mine (though mine didnt when i did all those reinstalls)
AirmanPika
Occasionally I've noticed the isight appearing and being detected out of nowhere in my iMac too but when you select it in My Computer the machine freezes up and has to be rebooted. No idea what is causing this random detection.
settolo
Someone is reporting that it is detected after a warm reboot from OSX to XP and not detected after a direct boot to XP. I cant check.
chiefsalami
I can confirm that this appears to be the case. On my 20" iMac, it didn't freeze up the computer when I selected the "USB Video device", but it crashed Explorer and it restarted itself automatically.
