How do you install Chameleon ?

Hi all,

I downloaded Chameleon-1.0.11-test.iso and Chameleon_DFE_for_Hard_Disk. I've installed my Leopard using Boot132, but now I need to boot from the HDD rather than the BOOT132 CD.

How can I install Chameleon and get it to boot my HDD ? I tried google but failed to find a result.

Do I have to use the same KEXT files that I used using KextHelper ? If yes, then where do I put them ?

Thanks

There is a installer available.

Boot using your Boot CD, download the Chameleon Installer and install it. Once installed, remove your Boot CD and restart your system.

Click this ->link<- and google will show you the Website where you can get the installer. (Can't post the direct link)

The file you are looking for is called "Chameleon-1.0.11-installer.zip"

good luck :D

Hi Shadaw,

Thank you. I had the test image. I'll update you with how I go.

Thank you again,

It worked and the computer is booting fine.

One task is accomplished, now to look at the following step.

What's the difference between Chameleon Installer and the other "Chameleon_DFE_for_Hard_Disk"
