ReekoB
i am looking to buy a laptop to install osx onto. i really need sound and wifi working, which are the 2 major problems i have seen after a little research. i am looking for the install to be as clean as possible and for as much as possible to work OOB. i have scoured the HCL but cant find anything, but understand that may be out of date... thanks. mic.mac.hack
The Dell Inspiron 1525 is a great laptop to run OS X on, works 100%. I am actually posting from mine right now! Take a look at http://www.espressoreport.com/83/dell-insp...k-pro-tutorial/ to see just how easy it is to install and run. PS: i used Richard's (above) method originally but later installed using Retail DVD and the boot DFE bootloader and itworks great.
