wtf69wtf
I was thinking of doing this and was wondering if its possible. I have been doing some googling and found out that Dell uses some type of "EISA" which is an older form of FAT partitions. Hitting Ctrl+F11 would trigger the recovery to start. But I could not find something that would work. Could you guys help me out? maybe you know of guides? Anyways I build computers for friends and relatives, and would like to make this possible. Thanx P.S. Would it work with OSx86?
tomazzzi
Hp use this software to create the recovery partition : http://pcangelsolutions.com/index.htm but it s a commercial one ... You can use those tools to make it freely but it s quite a pain : http://www.msfn.org/board/hidden-restore-p...ion-t47773.html http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=12447 http://www.911cd.net/forums//index.php?showtopic=18480 http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=334 http://www.msfn.org/board/System-recovery-...ion-t84411.html Norton ghost seems to be the best alternative to me ...but you won t get this F10 thing Hope this helps
