Ive tried everything and nothing seems to work. Here goes.... I installed Jas OSX 10.4.8 and Windows Vista (Acer edition) All I get is a blinking cursor and a black screen when I boot to the hard drive. I've tried some command prompt stuff but none of that even came close to working so.... I want to know if you are willing to investigate to make some cold hard CASH MONEY
hecker
You might get helped if you posted your EXACT system specs. There are also an array of good tutorials and hardware compatibility guides (HCL. Check the Wiki). Maybe your computer is just not compatible. Good luck and welcome to the forum! AntarcticP
Hi ryconn, the forums are full of people who cannot boot after installing a MacOS version. This is because the Darwin bootloader cannot find the MBR on your harddrive. I suppose you installed from an older JaS version without the right ppf patch. Download a newer version of the install DVD: Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso Look for it on the bay of pirates. This version works perfectly on my computer. grtz, antarcticP
