martin15s Posted September 22, 2008 Share Posted September 22, 2008 hi - just wanted to show my appreciation to ALL of this forum's contributors for their hard work and assistance. My Dellintosh laptop is running well on Kalyway 10.5.2 with only the usual suspects not operational (sleep, SD card reader etc) but I am absolutely delighted with it - so much so that it is my OS on the machine (my son hogs the desktop but he prefers XP anyway). There are obviously too many people to name personally but those I can remember are Kalyway, Chun-Nan, Rammjet and Hagar. It seems that many people post before adequately searching for and actually trying out the various remedies - OSx86 is clearly NOT an out of the box replacement for Windows and a cheap Mac - you have to be prepared for pitfalls - and you must have some basic knowledge of terminals etc. Anyway many thanks once again and as my experience grows I hope to be able to contribute in some way my self.
