lefty2
Is it possible to get a ps2 keyboard working on leopard? I have JaS 10.5.4 installed and it boots up fine until I get a message "please plug in keyboard"
hecker
I came across a thread by ~pcwiz on how to fix this issue a few days ago.
lefty2
Ok. I see there is a fix called ApplePS2Controller.kext. But I wouldn't I need the keyboard working in the first place before I can install it?
hecker
Hehe, that's true. Maybe you should borrow an USB keyboard to do it.
lefty2
I tried reinstalling. In jas there is no option for ApplePS2Controller.kext, but there is one called pips something or other. I selected that but it still doesn't detect the keyboard.
lefty2
I see from this post: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=123200 that iDeneb includes ApplePS2Controller, so maybe if I install this one instead it'll work
lefty2
iDeneb worked... great, now I have my Hackintosh working perfectly ... except that I have to unplug the keyboard and plug back in again to get it working.
