SuperNet33 Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 I did the update everything worked fine expect my Nic card, OSX thinks the cable is unplugged but it really isn't.. bdawson Posted September 16, 2008 Share Posted September 16, 2008 I have two NICs on my A8N and the same thing happened - except now the other one works! I thought I'd unplug it and plug it back in to see if the system would sense it. It didn't. So I plugged it into the other one - which started happily blinking away! Sure enough, the network preference (which was already open) popped right up and said a new port had been found and did I want to use it? I tell you, sometimes its like throwing the silverware drawer up in the air just to see what sticks in the counter on the way down.
