Aztekgod Posted March 20, 2006 Share Posted March 20, 2006 I use to have aol on 10.4.3 now I upgraded to 10.4.5 and downloaded AOL, I am able to install it but right when I start it for the first time and it goes to AOL setup it crashes any one else? I dont know if it is the same AOL version or a diferent one. Please help... On 14.4.3 I installed the Maxxum patch not on this one, will that help or is it possible? errandwolfe Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Solution to AOL speed problem: Throw more RAM at it. Rosetta is very memory intesive. Now that I up'd to 2 gb it is almost a tolerable speed. Don't forget the AOL client is pretty antiquated as is, and I have heard no hopes of an updated AOL client much less a Universal one.
