bigboi00069 Posted September 6, 2008 Share Posted September 6, 2008 I got 10.4.10 kalyway running quite well on an HP Pavilion 503n with a 1.7ghz celeron SSE2. I put a PCI geforce 5200 in there for QE/CI. Everything seems to work, except i cant seem to make imovie 6 HD run very well with the DV format selected for video. It plays and edits, but it is VERY choppy, to the point that it is kinda unusable. I use this alot when i import video from my DV cam. Is my SSE2 cpu just not able to handle it, or is there something i can do to make it run better? mykl Posted September 8, 2008 Share Posted September 8, 2008 My graphic card (Ati M6) does not support CI, so no idea about imovie, sorry. Maybe try to check Your QE/CI performance if isn't weak enough to run imovie?
