starchild2012
Hi, I am running iAtkos 4 on a Dell Inspiron 1720. I have it on one of my dual hard-drives- it takes up the entire drive. The only way I can boot thought is if i have the dvd in the drive - is there a fix for this? When the dvd exists, it works like a charm though. I haven't been able to get sound working yet, or wireless, but it is the boot issue i wish to resolve first. Any thoughts please? Cheers, T Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/124652-atkos-4-cant-boot-without-dvd-in-the-drive/ Share on other sites

Bob Gratton
verify that when you format your OSX partition/drive before installing it, the name you give don't have any spaces, i had the same error as you and that was the problem. so name it MacOSX instead of Mac OS X for example.
