rgjt Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 I'm looking for a modified DSDT BIOS for the Asus P5Q Pro MB. Currently have BIOS version 1104. I can successfully install Jas 10.5.4 OSX off the DVD but it will not boot off the hard drive. It always hangs regardless of different boot options. Tried different kernels, -s, -x, -f, maxmem=2048, cpus=1, all without any success. Disabled all BIOS options, enabled all BIOS options, etc.... JaS 10.5.4 and iDeneb install successfully off the DVD, but will hang during the reboot off the hard drive regardless of different boot options and BIOS options that I've tried with my Asus P5Q Pro setups. Finally got iDeneb 10.5.4 working after applying the modified BIOS (1004). Also works for Jas 10.5.4 However, no LAN with the Asus P5Q Pro as of yet and unable to get my ATI Radeon 4850 working.
