martinsweb.net
Hi martin, which version are you trying to install and are you shure if the iso isn´t corrupt! Hi Nick! Mac OS X 10.4.4/5 osx86 Patched Bootable DVD I burned the image on two DVDs: DVD+R, DVD-R with Nero6, I'm sure they are ok. I also tried the DVDs on my Desktop, but there is a Raid0 stack and I get a really good looking apple screen, which tells me to Reboot my PC in 3 different languages. Nick Jacholson
I have also tried this version and it got stuck all the time with my config. now I´m runing the original 8f1111g image self patched with the JaS 4.2b patch and the installation worked quite fine. stil solving some probs, but most functions work fine. So keep on trying. It'll work maybe not the 10.4.4/5 but at least the 10.4.3 is right now running on really many systems. I burned 2 DVDs with UltraISO, same result as descriped before. Maybe it's because of the DVD-drive in my Laptop, but I have no clue. Are there some special burning options in UltraISO? Any torrent or ftp link for another good OSX x86 DVD? thx, Martin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12384-dvd-boot-stops-after-short-time/#findComment-78838 Share on other sites
thrunner
edited: Please, first of all, you should not link any illegal torrent files here on this site. Apple has already shut down this site once. There may be problems with Intel 855PM and 10.4.5 installs; eg: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...=11985&hl=855PM Perhaps you can do the "dd of the vmware image to AF partition" installation method, that is see if it installs with VMware and then DD that image to native. http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?sh...c=3245&hl=855PM Your setup Samsung P35 CPU Intel Pentium M 735 (1.7GHz) processor Operating System Microsoft Windows XP Home Core Chipset Intel 855PM core chipset Graphics Processor ATI Radeon 9700 graphics processor with 64MB DDR RAM Display 15.1" SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) TFT Display Memory 256MB PC-2700 DDR RAM memory, upgradeable to 2Gb Hard Disk 60GB UDMA-100 hard disk Audio 16bit SouldBlaster compatible sound How to ask questions in this forum http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=11517 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12384-dvd-boot-stops-after-short-time/#findComment-78889 Share on other sites
c0b41n
Got nearly the same Problem. If i want to install OSX 10.4.4/5 or 10.4.6 JaS he stops at the grey screen. When i start the install with -v he stops at ... waiting for boot volume with UUID xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx-xxxxxxx. So i intsallt it on another LapTop (Yakumo Q7 Mobilium XD (10.4.6 JaS) worked fine) and put the finished installed hdd into my Samsung P35. He stops again an waiting..... . When i put the drive on USB the same. Some months ago i test this USB boot with an installed 10.4.3 and he booted but the keyboard was not active. I have no idea to solve this Problem. Need some help!!! greetz c0b41n Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12384-dvd-boot-stops-after-short-time/#findComment-111480 Share on other sites
c0b41n
Hi, its working for me right now. Just installed the JaS 10.4.3 everything works fine. The only thing to is deactivate the USB legacy Support in Bios und Advance i think. Then MacOS will find your Keyboard an Trackpad. Graphic works fine with "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" on 1400xxxx there are Graphics fails on drawing windows and scrolling. I think this is because 1400xxx is not nativly supported by Mac??? Ok if anybody needs Help just PM me. If there are more then 5 PM ill write a guide how to install 10.4.3 on a Samsung P35. Go on guys working on getting my Hardware more and more working SpeedSteps works between 1,2 and 1,6 GHZ Sound works Graphic works with QE and so on KeyBoard and Mouse works SD-Card Reader works but dont know how to handle the Cards System recognizes that theres something in the slot and display a symbol in the "tray". bye guys c0b41n Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12384-dvd-boot-stops-after-short-time/#findComment-114323 Share on other sites
