plamenv0
I want to install the 10.5.2 version of kalyway on my dell latitude d820 notebook here are the specs: Prossesor - Core Duo T2400 CPU @ 1.83 GHz, 667MHz front side bus, 2MB L2 cache RAM - 1024MB DDR2-667 RAM (2x512MB DIMMS) Graphic card - NVIDIA Quadro NVS 120 graphics solution with 512MB TurboCache Hard Disk - 80GB hard disk @ 7200RPM disk - 8x CD-RW/DVD RW dual layer drive Wireless - Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN (802.11b/g 54Mbps) Mini Card (Broadcom) Bluetooth - Bluetooth radio (Toshiba stack) First of all can someone tell me whether or not it going to work If it will, what should i select from the customize menu in the installation ? If it wont, what can I try that will ? Last of all, btw I know this is a really noobie and idiotic question, but how do you install kext files i.e. drivers in OS X ? Gujal
There is a dedicated thread for this topic. Read it. Even though it is for 630/830, almost all of it applies to 620/820 Every single thing on your laptop is supported except for the Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet (Broadcom 5752) and you have to run with only one core enabled (cpus=1) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/122495-install-kalyway-1052-on-dell-latitude-d820/#findComment-866907 Share on other sites
