MMatlock
When I try to download songs from iTunes under 10.4.4, after typing in my apple login it tells me that "iTunes could not connect to the music store. The requested key chain could not be found. Open key chain access and run key chain first aid, then try again". However when i try to run key chain first aid i get the following: Repair started Checking keychain configuration for Matt Matlock (user ID=501) Home directory is /Users/mattmatlock Checked login keychain Checked default keychain Checked contents of ~/Library/Keychains/login.keychain Error: /System/Library/Keychains/X509Anchors could not be found. Without it, many applications will be unable to establish secure network connections. Unable to restore /System/Library/Keychains/X509Anchors. You will need to manually copy it from another machine, or reinstall the system software. Warning: some problems were not fixed Repair failed Does anyone else have this problem? It appears that my install is missing a critical file. Is it this way for everyone? Veeoh
no problem here - works fine with V6.0.4 and 10.4.5 - must be specific to your machine by the looks of it. xiberia
you have to copy X509 anchors from 10.4.3. The 10.4.4 restore disk doesn't have them (and I assume the 10.4.5 update doesn't either) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/12217-buying-music-on-itunes-doesnt-work/#findComment-77255 Share on other sites
