XP does not like booting on external drives and this install won't allow for the few possible solutions to get around the problem. Can you expand on what you did in a bit more detail? what did you accomplish? are you booting XP from an external FW HD? Jonny_T Posted March 17, 2006 Share Posted March 17, 2006 Carbon Copy Cloner is a Mac OS X app so presumably what is being suggested is to clone your current OS X setup onto the external (HFS+ formatted) FW drive and then completely reformat the internal with whatever format is required (FAT32??) and install just Windows on it. Mac OS X has no problems booting off an external FW drive, so...
