Hi everybody, I bought a new WD My Book Home Edition 1TB HD and a 100 GB hard drive. The WD Hard Disk has RAID Capabilities so I decided to set it up with RAID, the RAID works fine, but Disk Utility and Finder Display it as having only 185.7 GB Capacity, any suggestions?

Turns out when I use concentrated RAID it works, but I dont want to do concentrated RAID because it is slow, any suggestions?

Striped RAID distributes the read/write tasks across multiple drives and is limited by the size of the smallest drive. In your case, you have 2 drives, the smaller being 100gb. Since the data is being written in equal portions on 2 drives, it doubles the capacity of the small drive, hence the ~200gb.

Get another 932gb hard drive. You can't use the full capacity of Raid without having hard drives of roughly the same size. How would you evenly distribute 930gb onto a 90gb hard drive?

Now, if you can setup Raid0 (stupid, but you can) then it should show the whole thing.
