leglez
I have a GIGABYTE GA-P35-DS3L and Q6600 what would be the best RAM to use with this to overclock? I will be overclocking on air, I will also be using 8GBs. I ordered the 2GB Kit of Kingston listeded on their recommended memory. But I think I am wanting to try something like this: 2x2GB G.Skill Has anyone used something like this with the board? I am purchasing a 9800GTX+ Video card and there are several types of ram available with it at a discount. So would any of these work: OCZ Fatality 4GB OCZ Vista Upgrade 4GB OCZ Gold 4GB Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/120645-what-is-good-ram-for-gigabyte-ga-p35-ds3l-to-overclock-with/ Share on other sites

leglez
Which of These do you have? I don't really know too much about RAM, so I am not sure what I need. Realistically your not going to be going past 400mhz on your FSB so you can go with any DDR2-800 kit it does not matter on the brand as long as you get it from a quality name manufacturer like Corsair, Kingston, G-Skill like you mention or Patriot like I have, find the cheapest out there and buy it. leglez
So then This Ram should work fine? If it doesn't can I still get an RMA from newegg?
