but this is intel only i guess?

Oops....I forgot your Pavillion is AMD based....... :( ......

allright i tried everything now... but it still doesnt boot up without a cd... i even dont know how to boot with a cd Oo it just enters the textscrolling screen after the hfs files loaded but then nothing happens anymore. i could make a pic from the screen if it may help

Edit:

OK!

F10 on boot to go into BIOS

- Set a boot password (not BIOS password). (This helps prevent the com.apple.boot.plist error - thanks redash!)

- Increase vram in to max which is 128Mb (Optional, but really improves performance)

- Set Boot Order to boot from HD first

It is a script file, so when executing it it basically installs the enabler.....but you need to navigate to the directory where you downloaded the .zip file to and there extracted it before running the script........alternatively open a new Terminal shell, type "sudo ./" and then simply drag the script file from its location and drop it into the Terminal shell, then press Enter.

or isnt there a driver for a broadcom bcm4312 ? i'm still not able to search IM for stuff like that...

Search in Google but keep Insanelymac as a search term too.....

EDIT: Maybe the Broadcom enabler here might do the job for you......read all posts here too......only a suggestion....

allright i tried iatkos v4a today and it worked.... i'm writing this here from my hackbook right now. but still the resolution issue. i cant change it from 1024x768 to 1440x900...

EDIT:

allright i installed nvinstaller and it worked. but well os x is still very very very laggy. is there something that might fix it?

same problem. I am running a dv6000.

Got most things working.. Wifi, sound, resolution (although I can't set 1440x900) but still having problems with keyboard and touchpad being hit and miss. Works fine 1 minute, then I reboot and it doesn't.

Biggest problem is like vetz said, its very laggy.. Don't know whats up with that, but its pretty horribly sluggish.

Anyone know a fix? Its a dual core AMD.
