FakeJosh
hey all, i am SO close to having a fully functional hackintosh system. right now, the only thing not working SEEMS to be my pci slots, but I can confirm that the pci express slot with my graphics card is indeed working. When I plug a firewire card in the pci, it doesn't seem to recognize it. I also have tried a Echo Gina3G card and that isn't recognized either (i also installed the drivers for it). In system profiler, it tells me that i don't appear to have any PCI cards installed. any ideas? here are my specs. ASUS P5K-VM Intel Q6600 2.4GHz Quad Core 4GB Mushkin DDR2-1066 Nvidia 7300GS 256MB (2) 1TB Seagate 7200.11 (SATA) (2) LG DVD-RW DL (IDE) (1) Adaptec FW Card PCI (1) Echo Gina3G PCI THANKS! NHJ
it's easy intel mac don't have pci slots so no driver is loaded for pci slots. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119825-pci-slots-not-working-maybe/#findComment-848824 Share on other sites
