sdooley
Ok so here's the issue, when I pop in my WoW disc 1 I have 2 icons one is the installer the other is the .MPQ file. When I click on the Installer file the icon flashes like it's going to do some thing but nothing happens. So I tried the .MPQ method I copied all the .MPQ's and the installer, clicked the installer and nothing happens as well. So.... I went to the WoW site and downloaded the the game from there clicked the Installer and you guessed ... nothing. Through my research I think it has something to do with Rosetta, but do not know much about it. If someone could shed some light on this that would be great.... I am using Kalyway 10.5.2 PC Specs Mobo: Asus A8V Deluxe RAM: 4gb DDR2 400 Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 7800GS Harddrive OS is on: 80gb partion of a 160gb WD Internal IDE Chipset: VIA Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119093-world-of-warcraft-launcher-does-nothing-when-clicked/ Share on other sites
sg
there is an updated installer on the blizzard site that is a universal binary for WoW (and all their games D2 and up). sdooley
Sorry to be so dense, but I have been through the entire Bliz and WoW sites and I can not find a download for this installer. Could you possibly point me in the right direction. Also on the Bliz site there is no download section Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/119093-world-of-warcraft-launcher-does-nothing-when-clicked/#findComment-844509 Share on other sites
