declan
Once my machine is rebuild, i will dual boot osx and xp media centre, now i know to read HFS+ you need Macdrive, and generally OSX sees NTFS as read only, is it true both see Fat32, i want my mac and windows to share a partition for downloads and divx. Plus is there any media player on the mac that recognises dvr-ms format, save converting to divx to watch on mac. I believe dvr-ms is just mpeg with ms wrappers. I'll try playing them directly when I get home tonight. declan
Yes mpeg with wrappers, but its the wrapper that normally causes the problem, i normally convert to mpeg then divx/xvid but would be nice for things i only wanna watch once to use os x Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/11904-what-other-file-systems-does-os-x-regonise/#findComment-74806 Share on other sites

I want this to work as well so I may have a go at it, but do not know how long it will take.
