You installed with Kaylway DVD patched with Chameleon. That does not install Chameleon to your harddisk unless you installed the chameleon package manually after the installation. You can get a installable dmg from Chameleon website which was made by Kalyway (I think)

The SMBIOSResolver.kext is for recognising CPU speed etc. It works in conjunction with vanilla AppleSMBIOS.

Your ACPI/APIC issue is different, you can try with this AppleACPIPlatform.kext which is from this thread, but may not solve your problem.

The sure shot solution for ACPI/APIC would be to request Kabyl to patch your BIOS. He has already patched BIOS for so many motherboards, including MSI. Go to his site and put in a request.

Regarding the AHCI, you can try what I did to get it working on my machine. First setup JMicron as AHCI, Intel as IDE, connect the harddisk to Intel SATA port and boot XP. Once booted, JMicron AHCI Driver can be installed without any issue.

Once installed, shutdown, move the Harddisk to Jmicron SATA Port. Make both Jmicron and Intel as AHCI in BIOS and boot XP again. This time it will boot up and see the Intel AHCI ports, at which point you can install the Intel Matrix Driver which supports ICH10R AHCI mode. Once this is installed, shut down the machine, move the harddisk back to Intel SATA port and now it can boot OSX or XP without the need to change IDE mode in BIOS.

I tried doing the ACPI/APIC thing and I couldn't boot into Leopard afterwards. Gave me that same error before I fixed it using the JaS 10.4.8 ACPI/APIC drivers. So I reinstalled it...

Unfortunately, now I don't have any sound because Taruga's site is down and I NEED that ALC888 kext in the Testing Kexts section of his site. :\ I think I'm gonna leave everything where it was and be happy with it lol. So now I need to find someone who has that file. :(

I don't get what you're talking about with the AHCI though. What's the difference between Intel SATA port and Jmicron SATA port? And what if I can't still install the Matrix Driver after doing all that? If I encounter that, how do I revert, just back to IDE?
