5mall5nail5
Hey guys - found the Iatkos DVD 10.5.4 and burned it - it boots up, the first time I did it I just had the little circle jobber spinning forever. I rebooted, this time I got a "You need to restart your computer" error before the spinny jobber. Restarted again, this time it came up, I had a rainy blue splash screen with a pinwheel mouse cursor and was pumped! Then I got "you need to restart your computer" Ugh! I have an eVGA 680i NF68-A1 motherboard, Q6600 Core 2 Quad, 8GB ram, and an 8800 GTX video card. What do i do?! Dmitrii
you don't have ati cards, you must remove ati kext after install. Boot with dvd with -s and type /sbin/mount -uw / rm -R /System/Library/Extensions/ATI* rm -R /System/Library/Extensions.* and try boot again without dvd Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118724-iatkos-v4i-you-need-to-restart-your-computer/#findComment-841028 Share on other sites
