Korrupted
Reinstall. P4 can't do Vanilla. Choose a hacked kernel. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118564-what-i-have-to-do/#findComment-839636 Share on other sites
Basti756
I'd recommend the ToH kernel. Works like a charm on my P4 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/118564-what-i-have-to-do/#findComment-839657 Share on other sites

Gujal
Do not select any Audio and Graphics Drivers during install. As far the kernel I think 9.2.0 is right, however just look at the description of the kernel when you select it. The description must say it supports SSE2. Select any kernel with SSE2 in its description Once you have installed, and got the basic bits working you can add Audio and NVidia drivers later. The Audio driver you are selcting is not suitable for your Codec (STAC9220). What you need is sigmatel9200.txt and AppleHDA Patcher v1.20 by Taruga For Video you can install the latest nvinstaller. Gujal
Search for "welcome loop" in the forums. lots of posts and solutions. Generally if you enable Com1 or firewire in BIOS it will go past this screen. Issue is NO OSX usable Network connection. There are other solutions to this as well which can be done through command line.
